A traditional fraternity is a social organization made up of only men. Kappa Kappa Psi is a co-ed or gender inclusive fraternity that is focused on student service and leadership regarding their college's bands.
A bid is a formal invitation given to join a fraternity.
A membership candidate is someone who is not yet initiated, but in the process of learning about the organization and is aspiring to join.
Hazing is an initiation process involving harassment and humiliating a member. Kappa Kappa Psi strictly does not tolerate hazing in any way.
As full members of Kappa Kappa Psi, we are especially involved on Saturday home football games, as well as weekly meetings year-round. Your responsibilities pertain to whatever role(s) you have. Many of our members are involved in multiple bands, student organizations, and have part-time jobs. Being involved helps greatly improve your time management skills!
Nope! If marching band isn't your thing, there are many other bands to get involved in. However, we do require you to be available for completion of service hours. Refer to our "How to Join" page for more information.
Nope, not at all! We encourage any age of college student to become a part of our chapter!
